|Fuengirola, is a seaside town on the Costa del Sol, in the province of Malaga in southern Spain. It is a major tourist town, with 5 Ml of sandy beach, as los Boliches, Gaviotas and Torreblanca,and the long promenade, the Paseo Maritimo. On Tuesday there is a market, the largest outdoor market on the coast. Highly recommended, is the zoo Bioparc Fuengirola. Near this villa, (ORE130228-villa Fuengirola) is also Aquapark Mijas including a lazy river, water slide, so bathing, fun for young and old.
|Paseo Maritimo has a variety of bars, restaurants and beach bars, (a Spanish fish bar / restaurant) and is flanked by high-rise hotels, and residential blocks of apartments, with magnificent views, of the Mediterranean Sea. Fuengirola seafront promenade, is the favorite place of the locals, and the many tourists. The beaches, of Torre Blanca, in the east and all the way to the castle in the west, has the European Blue Flag. Every Tuesday at the fairgrounds, (Recinto Ferial), is in Fuengirola the local market, the largest along the coast. The stalls sell Andalusian pottery, carpets, leather goods. If you are a lover of dried fruits and nuts, olives, fresh vegetables, fruit and flowers, then you should not miss the weekly market.
